**1965 EMIDISC ACETATE MEGA RARE (PLEASE READ)**

The Meteors where an Isle Of Wight band based in Ryde that had a good following in the Mid 60's even wining a beat contest at Southampton and supporting some famous bands including Johnny Kidd ,the Swinging Blue Jeans and the superb IOW Cherokees. This could be the only disc left in the world by this cult Isle Of Wight Band and will be of big interest to beat collectors or anybody interested in the music scene of the island. The disc has 4 tracks.... Talkin' about you (superb version) , Farmer John ,Tired of waiting for you and It aint necessarily so.

The band played the Kinks tired of waiting for you ate the beat contest in 1965!!!!

These are studio recordings but do not know where they where recorded???

The disc plays without skipping of jumping but there is surface noise and crackle. REMEMBER HOW RARE THIS IS!!!! A visual grade of fair++ ,There are no very deep marks but surface scores and and some marks. My grading is strict this may be the only one left in the world!!!! Still very nice for how rare this is. The disc is complete with both Emidisc labels see below!!!!

**For each record or item sent out I will fill out a separate Proof of Postage slip that is date stamped with the address of the destination of the parcel. Insurance will cost extra and is highly recommended, I will not be responsible if this is not taken for items lost in the post.

**Please note if you cannot make payment within 20 days of auction ending please do not bid as the number of non paying bidders seems to be on the increase. I am not into giving negative feedback as I feel that this is a childish feature and not my style. It seems some people on this auction site are Trigger Happy with this feature.
