Description
The MIDNIGHTERS Sing Their Greatest Hits Federal 10" 295-90 1954
The first and highly collectible LP on the Federal label. Though they had several hits it suffered from sluggish sales, it was still the beginning of the LP market and only received one pressing in this format, but fared much better in 1957 when it was put into a 12" format. The rarity of the Federal 10" is legendary due in part to the lack of promotion for LPs at that time and the popularity of both The Midnighters and the Dominoes in the following years. We played the full album. One skip on A1. Rest plays with unobtrusive but constant background noise more audible in quieter passages. Ticks here and there but not too often. Cover:VG- , wear, light creasing on front, dark aging, writing on back, completely split at top and spine Record Labels: VG++ , clean Disc: VG , several light marks, a few scratches Matrix: etched FLP 93 / FLP 94
