This single was only available for the first 1000 orders received for the 3 CD Rhino Handmade box set The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees, released in 2010.
The single was shipped separately in a flat mailer and was not included inside the box set.
My name is Andrew Sandoval and I have spent year’s producing and collecting The Monkees releases. I am in the process of moving and now it is time to let go of some of my archive. I have WAY too much stuff. In fact, I have a whole storage unit filled with Monkees stuff that I have to clean out in April and I will be listing everything here, including many one-of-a-kind items. I definitely cannot keep it all.
Only one thousand of these singles were made 10 years ago and only released to the public via Rhino mail order - it was never sold at retail stores. People always ask me when it will be available again and I will tell you the absolute truth: I do not believe these tracks will ever be made again in any form - it has been sold out for YEARS NOW! I consider this to be one of the rarest Monkees 45's. The other question people ask me is if there will be a cheaper version someday. I’ll tell you, I truly doubt it!
