I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You/2:30 Mercer/BMI Gospel singing at its finest...this is how I feel about The Marksmen Quartet. Anyone who loves gospel singing will enjoy this new album. After meeting each of The Marksmen personally, Walton and Hubert Brewer, Hubert’s son, Douglas, and the bass man Howard Frazier; also the musicians, Kent Burchette at the piano and Rickey Whitley playing the bass guitar, I can say they truly enjoy singing...with every song they sing you can feel the radiation of spirit that surrounds each singer. As busy as they are, The Marksmen also find time to help others in need...like last Mother’s Day when they helped to raise six hundred dollars for the American Cancer Society during a radio broadcast. Their broadcast every Sunday morning gets many requests for their gospel singing, on WKBC radio.... If you ever have the opportunity to see The Marksmen Quartet in person, do so, for you’ll find a rewarding ex- experience in song.... Yes, this is truly gospel singing at its finest..and after listening to this album I’m sure you’ll agree! STAN ROGERS, PROGRAM DIRECTOR WKBC Radio North W.lkesboro, N.C.
