Title: The Master Tape Vol. 2
Label: Affirmation Records
Year: 1983
Notes:
Top Copy! Vinyl looks to have been never played. I did not clean the vinyl except for with a dry Audioquest Anti-Static Carbon Fiber record brush. Vinyl Booklet looks never opened. I opened it to take a couple photos, but appears to have never been touched otherwise. There was a flyer in the booklet (see pic) which will be included of course. Since this copy is so close to perfect, I'll only point out the flaws - Sleeve: Light ring-wear from storage. Bottom right corner ding. One small mark in the silver paint on upper right corner. One small mar mark on left upper-center edge. Labels: small chip in the metallic silver paint on record 2 side A (see pic). I think the label's metallic silver coloring was screen printed with silver paint making it more susceptible to marks and chipping. No spindle marks (from spindle misses) again suggesting that the records were played one or twice or possibly never played. You will be hard-pressed to ever find a better copy of this comp unless you can find a sealed copy. My jaw literally dropped when I found it! Don't miss this one!
We combine shipping - $3.90 for the first LP or 45 + $1.00 for any additional LP or 45

* Grading Scale:
M * Mint
Cover: the cover and extra documents like lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Record: the record is in brand new condition, absolutely perfect.
=============
NM * Near Mint
Cover: the cover should look close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age. Minor impressions to the cover (due to the outer edge of the record resting inside) may be acceptable,
however the artwork should be as close to perfect as can be.
Record: describes an almost mint record, this grade is used for records that appear virtually flawless but not perfect. A very minor scuff can appear on the record. Yet, the record must play without any noise over the flaw and the latter must be very hard to detect. Any blemish affecting sound quality will prevent records from being graded NM or M.
=============
EX * Excellent (EX is the same rating as VG++)
Cover: the cover and packaging might have slight wear but excellent aspect overall.
Record: the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
=============
VG+ * Very Good +
Cover: shows some handling imperfection like normal wear and tear, price tag, light ring-wear and/or edge-wear.
Record: most common condition for records. The record has been played but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, very light background crackle when listening closely, no wear, despite occasional light marks.The average person would not notice anything wrong.
=============
VG * Very Good
Cover: somewhat prominent ring-wear and/or edge-wear. May have small spine or edge splits, discoloration, and/or light scuffs on cover.
Record: now the signs of age and handling are starting to show somewhat. You can notice some wear on the surface. There is some noise (pops and crackles) but no skips or jumps. There may be a minor warp in the vinyl that is inaudible.
=============
VG- * Very Good -
Cover: prominent ring-wear and/or edge-wear. May have spine or edge splits, spine or edges may have been neatly re-taped, discoloration, and/or scuffs on cover.
Record: now the signs of age and handling are starting to show clearly. You can notice some clear wear on the surface. There is some noise (pops and crackles). There may be minor warps and skips (better to ask for confirmation to the seller especially if your turntable is sensitive).
=============
G * Good
Cover: the cover and contents can be torn, somewhat stained and/or defaced, edge or spine splitting maybe prominent but the cover art is still intact
Record: the record has been played so much that the sound quality has been noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
=============
P * Poor
Cover: the cover and contents are badly damaged or partly missing.
Record: the record does not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc ... Unless it is something very rare it is not worth listing in this condition.
