Description

This rare 1977 release from Caedmon Records features the legendary science fiction author Isaac Asimov reading The Mayors from his seminal work Foundation. Originally published as the novelette Bridle and Saddle in 1942, this story is a cornerstone of the Foundation saga, detailing the political maneuvering of Salvor Hardin and the rise of the Foundations religious and economic influence. Asimoves narration provides a unique, authoritative perspective on one of his most celebrated narratives, making this LP a prized collectible for fans of the series and of science fiction history. The album features striking cover art by renowned sci fi illustrator Rick Sternbach, known for his work on Star Trek. This copy is in Excellent vinyl condition with a clean playing surface, and the jacket is in Very Good Plus condition, presenting beautifully for any collection.
