Description

Superb quality 1971 pressing on the UK Banana label in excellent condition of two Studio One gems; Side One is "Marching On" by the Maytals, a marching tune with a ska flavour and some neat horn instrumentation, that was first released on R & B Discs in 1964. The other side is the real gem though. "Mellow Mood" is one of Roland Alphonso's most underrated tunes - a tenor sax workout on Alton Ellis' "These Eyes" rhythm, that shades close to "Rainy Night in Georgia" in places. Soundclip is attached -
