The Melvins - Hooch / Sky Pup - Rise Records RR 76 - Very limited picture disc. (1993) Produced by Kurt CobainPicture disc, design by kozik. Limited to 1000 copies.
5 colour silkscreened folding sleeve. it's an "hard to open package", as defined on the sleeve, and once (if) you manage to open it without damages, you better not close it again.
Melvins are an American band that formed in Montesano, Washington in 1982. In the early days of their career their dark, heavy, oppressively slow sound made them innovators of genres like grunge and doom metal. Kurt Cobain was a huge Melvins fan and helped them transport their equipment to a few shows. Cobain also auditioned to join the band on bass, but he didn’t make it, reportedly because he was so nervous that he forgot all the songs. Cobain maintained his relation with the band. Later he produced and played on some songs, this one espcially.
