Description
The Mentally Ill - Gacy's Place b/w Paddedd Cell and Tumor Boy 7" on Autistic Records, 1979 ORIGINAL. Insane MINT- condition, MI-1, MI-2 Matrix. Probably the cleanest copy on the planet...Yup. OG PUNK.. Picture sleeve has a white border and Deerfield IL. address on back. It looks un-played, I played it four times, there is a small 1/4" scratch near the run out groove on side one that does not sound, it was on there when I found it. I replaced the generic 45 inner sleeve with a nice mylar inner 45 sleeve. One of the classic IL. 45's besides The Del-Vetts Last Time Around. This was the Mentally Ill's first and last time around, and it's awesome. These records are extinct, this is a keeper! Impossible to upgrade, buy it NOW and be Big Man on Campus, on the real...Read my feedback, check my other auctions for more hard to find PUNK ROCK and Halloween records soon!
P.S. I don't know what pic sleeve was issued first, the white border or the black border...? Thanks!
All records are play graded with a VPI Scout turntable fitted with a new Goldring 1042 cartridge. That's why I have an expensive Hi-Fi, to play psycho punk / garage / Halloween records... All records are cleaned with a VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. All lp's are housed in Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master inner sleeves. Records are sent in real record mailers, not folded up priority boxes. I pack bullet-proof! Satisfaction guaranteed! Insurance is buyers responsibility. Thanks!
