Description

The Messiah Handel 12 inch 78 rpm records Near Mint

Double box set, 10 double sided records(78 rpm) boxed set. The front of boxed set is marked 'copyright 1947, Columbia Recording Corporation' in the lower right hand corner. The list of artists on the front of the album portfolio are: Isobel Baillie, Soprano Gladys Ripley, Contralto James Johnston, Tenor and Norman Walker, Basso with The Huddersfield Choral Society and The Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Malcolm Sargent. Handel was the premier artist of the time. This is volume 2 of a 2 volume set. This set has been Well Cared For and in great condition. The records appear to have been rarely played. Volume 1 includes 9 records(sides 1-18) and volume 2 includes 10 records(sides 19-38). this is Priced reasonably for any collector.
