The Midnight Monsters (LTD Clear-Purple Splatter Vinyl)
description detailsLTD Edition on clear-purple splattered vinyl!
The duo of Tyler Lyle and Tim McEwan, better known as The Midnight, have gone from being an online phenomenon to #1 on the Billboard Electronic Albums Chart in recent years. With their stirring sound, which combines Americana archetypes with a rousing palette of electronic sounds, he references synth-laden film music, deep house, pop and rock. New album MONSTERS is a continuation of The Midnight's all-encompassing plan, which has generated a fervent fan base - a vast community of internet culture obsessives, bedroom producers, Tumblr goths, cosplayers, teenagers, their parents and Allen in between - who have been for almost two years longing for a new album. "'MONSTERS' is the story of a teenager," says the band. “Adolescence is messy, tragic, brutal, wistful and beautiful. 'MONSTERS' is all of that.” From Aaron Campbell 's album artwork to the song titles, the record unearths teenage sensibilities through nostalgic touchstones such as the early internet, VHS tapes, Playstations or movie posters to explore the exhilarating and devastating experiences of those turbulent times years to play back. The Midnight are Tyler Lyle and Tim McEwan who were originally brought together because of a fellow musician in common. Hailing from the UK and Denmark, instrumentalist and producer Tim started out producing hip hop and pop acts, while singer, lyricist and guitarist Tyler grew up in rural Georgia and has been a singer-songwriter with folk and country stars worked.

about us
The year we were founded in 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was hailed as cool again - proves that we are real vinyl nerds. We only started out as a small record dealer from home. Later we opened our first real record shop and then of course our own online shop. Everything with passion and always with the motto: SAVE THE VINYL. What is not available online is available in our Übersee store, Frühlingsweg 22. Overseas? Yes. Übersee Am Chiemsee. Right on the A8 autobahn, between Munich and Salzburg. Here you will also find a fine range of second-hand vinyl. We also have a large selection of equipment from many manufacturers. Simply everything you need for everything to do with vinyl...
