Peggy Lipton / Peggy Lipton - Ode Records Z12-44006 (Stereo)(US)(1968) ...This auction is for an original Issue Record on U.S. vinyl. Peggy Lipton played the cool, sexy Julie Barnes on Mod Squad.
This was the first of two Ode albums by Peggy Lipton. The LP is quite enjoyable, mainly because of the quality material. Lipton wrote four of the 11 songs: "Let Me Pass," "Memories of a Golden Weekend," "San Francisco Glide," and "Honey Won't Let Me." She has a flower child persona that occasionally branches. Interesting cuts include Laura Nyro's "Stoney End" and Carole King and Gerry Goffin's "Natural Woman" and "It Might as Well Rain."
Track listings and review below...The Record and Gatefold Cover (promo sticker on front) are in great (Very Good++ to Mint-) condition (album shows no notable wear [no writing or split seams] record vinyl looks and plays very well).
