You are bidding on two Monkees albums, "Monkeemania 40 Timeless Hits From The Monkees," 1979 double album released in Australia on Arista Records, and "Monkeeshines," a 1970's album released in the USA on Zilch Records. "Monkeemania" contains 40 Monkees' classics, including the hits I'm A Believer, Last Train To Clarksville, I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone, A Little Bit Me A Little Bit You, Words, Pleasant Valley Sunday, Daydream Believer, and Valleri, as well as such great album tracks as Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow), She, Shades Of Gray, Mary Mary, Randy Scouse Git, Listen To The Band, and What Am I Doing Hanging 'Round, along with rare stereo mixes, long versions, and live concert versions. The inner sleeves contain a detailed history of the group, complete group and solo discographies, a list of Monkees' recording oddities and TV appearances, and photos. The gatefold jacket, both records, and inner sleeves are all in near mint condition.
"Monkeeshines" contains 27 rare tracks, including alternate versions of Valleri, Take A Giant Step, I'll Be Back Up On My Feet, I Wanna Be Free, You Just May Be The One, She Hangs Out, Star Collector, and Goin' Down, some of which are TV show versions rather than officially released versions, plus previously unreleased gems like All The King's Horses, Tear The Top Right Off My Head, Lady's Baby, Mustang, and White Christmas, plus TV show only song snippets like Iranian Tango, Different Drum, and Greensleeves. The back cover contains detailed info on the album's songs, and the jacket and record are in near mint condition.
