Description

An original 1st press of AF on USA verve from 1967. Label design is absolutely spot on for 1st issue. The vinyl comes housed in an original USA printed cover - with internal pasted images [as you find on 1st issue]. 
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback without reservation. No kidding - this copy absolutely knocks the ball outta the court. The audio is really really superb. Detailed with a lovely warm delivery. Difficult to find fault - truly. Maybe just a few crackles in one isolated spot per side. But truly a very impressive rendition. I think you'd really struggle to better the audio that's served up here. Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg) Not up to the standard of the vinyl - but adequate. Outer surfaces look good with just some light surface handling as would be difficult to avoid. The let down is that inside left panel - there's some ageing foxing apparent. Right panel is looking much better. There's a bit of edge wear here and there - but nothing epic. The spine is looking real nice with just a bit of wear at the extreme ends. Text is 90% legible and there's light ageing. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy card employed in manufacture.
