Description
Of several Boop-Oop-A-Doop girls who cashed in on Helen Kane's
fame, was one which Columbia called The Mystery Girl.
Here she does a first class job, singing "He's So Unusual" and "Do I
Know What I Am Doing?" on 78rpm Viva-Tonal Columbia 1902-D. I am
guessing that she is accompanied by the Ipana Troubadours.
Her real name is Catherine "Kate" Wright.
Both sides were done in New York City on July 9, 1929.
The record is in excellent-minus (E-) condition. There is a small piece
of tape on one label.
