Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
- This Mint Condition 3 LP Box Set has never been played. In fact, it had not ever been opened until I took these photos.
- The original version was released in 1961 in Mono. Based on the catalog number prefix this reissue appears to have been released in Stereo in the mid-1970's. There are no indications on the graphics or the labels regarding fidelity so I assume it's Mono.
- The recordings span Cole's career from 1943 to 1961.
- The reissue range is indicated by the pink-salmon labels.
- The paper on board cover is a hard board clam shell box.
- The 12"x 12" book is 24 pages. It features essays i.e. tributes, by Leonard Feather (Learned Father), Ralph J. Gleason and George T. Simon.
- The Seller got this stock copy in the mid-1970's. it has been in storage for at least 41 years.
