Description

Rare album from 1951. There was a contest in New York in 1951 to choose an artist for the cover art. The winner was then unknown Andy Warhol. The information I found online says there were only 3000 copies of the record made. Unfortunately the vinyl is in very rough condition. I would call it unplayable. Please see the pics. No info on label as you can see. The cover is in relatively good condition for it's age. Would look nice framed. Dinged corners with spine wear and about a 3" seam split and connected 1" tear on the rear top near center towards spine. Again please see the pics. Generic white inner sleeve. It had none when I acquired it.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like a picture of something specific.
Will be delivered in clear plastic sleeve and shipped in an album specific box.
