Up for auction
The New Scene of King Curtis. New Jazz, NJLP 8237, mono, 1960 (1st press).
Condition: Record = VG+
Jacket = VG+ (seams are tight and the front cover colors are still vibrant, but the back has a “preview copy” stamp and other noticeable wear)
“RVG” stamped in the dead wax.
These LP’s are from my personal collection and have been well maintained. These LP’s have been graded visually and play graded using the following grading system:
NM = new or like new, virtually free of visual and sound imperfections
VG+ = a record and jacket that show some minor scuffing or light wear; sound is still great although there may be an infrequent light click
VG = a record and sleeve that show visible wear; record still sounds good, but some light hiss or occasional clicks and pops may be present
G = a seriously flawed record and sleeve; only put up for auction because of extreme scarcity; record will play through, but sound quality is diminished considerably
