Description

Vinyl records pressed in Lebanon are extremely rare and very hard to find items in any condition, produced for a few years in the late 1960's until forced to stop by the onset of civil war in 1975. All the international artists and bands were popular in Lebanon, and only a few copies survived the last thirty years in very good condition, including limited editions of multi-colored 7" singles and unique white label samples for radio and club DJs.

Artist/Band : The News

Titles : Teardrops - I can love you

Format : 45 rpm vinyl record.

Country of Manufacture : Lebanon

Item Location : Beirut Lebanon.

Label : Tiger records

Condition, Vinyl : EX , Labels : EX, Sleeve : EX.

The News were an active rock band in beirut at the height of the psychedelic era along wit other bands like the Sea-ders aka the Cedars and Ray Psyah (check my aother auctions)...

Here's an mp3 audio sample from the disk on offer here http://www.4shared.com/mp3/scB8X4J7/The_News_-_Teardrops_-_I_can_L.html

The record plays very well and sounds excellent throughout. The labels are clean and the sleeve is intact.
