Hello, thanks for looking. I'm no expert on grading vinyl, i'll try my best to evaluate the condition of both the cover and the album. I'll use the grading scale below as a guide and i'll be very conservative with my evaluation, Keep in mind I am only visually assessing the condition of the jacket and vinyl. HELLO eBay, you are looking at a 1st Pressing of The Notorious B.I.G.'s first album "Ready To Die" ... IN EXCELLENT CONDITION! Collectors know what this is. Please feel free to message me with questions! I ask that if you plan on buying this, please have a history on eBay, if you don't message me prior to buying. Thank you!

CONDITION- Jacket: VG+ (Maybe EX)  / Vinyl: EX

The Jacket / Sleeve: I'm hoping the pictures can speak for the grade: VG+ (Maybe EX) It is Solid & Stiff, there are maybe 2 or 3 hairline creases on the seams (typical nothing crazy), The spine is in great shape and the print centered & legible, small amount of record ring on the front (see photo), corners are slightly rounded with age, maybe some light scratches, Honestly nothing Nothing Major to report for the jacket, pictures tell the story. 

*** still has the original "Parental Advisory..." sticker on the front! ****

Inner Paper Sleeve:  It's the original white paper sleeve...

The vinyl:  EX. The record looks fantastic! I'm seriously having a hard time finding Anything wrong with it. Maybe, a few tiny hairline superficial super-thin scratches on side A. Side B looks NM. I'm always hesitant to give a Near Mint Grade, but I can't see anything wrong with side B. There definitely isn't anything that will impact playback. Both label's are great too. 

This is the "hand etched" dead wax code. Its the original 1994 FIRST PRESS! The code is not stamped into the vinyl! Check Discogs for reference.

Grading Scale:

Mint (M): Perfect, unused in sealed original packaging.

Near-Mint (NM): Close to perfect with no visible scratches or scuffs. Appears to be un-played or played less than 5 times.

Excellent (EX): May contain 1 or 2 very tiny & light  cosmetic surface scratches and/or scuffs. Label and jacket may show slight signs of ring-wear / lightly bent corners. No creases, writing, tears or rips.

Very Good Plus (VG+): May show some signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took reasonably good care of it. Imperfections are cosmetic and do not drastically impact the playback. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs and surface scratches. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are ok. The label and jacket may have some slight ring ring-wear, discoloration, minor tears and imperfections. As with most vinyl, there may be low-level surface noise and light crackles and pops may be present, especially during quiet or soft passages in the track.  

Very Good (VG): Many of the imperfections found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG record or sleeve.

Good (G) - It doesn't mean the record is "Trashed" but its definitely been played a lot. I'll mainly use this for jackets and inner sleeves (if the record is worth selling).

Fair (F) Poor (P): I do not sell Poor (P), Fair (F). If I use these it's because the album is super rare. 

Disclaimer : I do not grade LPs professionally and I am not an expert on classification. Some of the vinyl I own, I bought in bulk at yard sales or estate sales. Ask Me Questions before bidding! Please understand, I'm grading my LPs on a visual estimation. Keep that in mind, because if you bid or buy this album, I'm selling it as is. If you're really interested in this record and you think the description & photo's are missing something, Message Me!
