Description
Mohawk Records catalog # Scalp 0002, stereo, copyright 1981.
A very clean copy of "The Original Modern Lovers" album, produced by Kim Fowley, and featuring the early songwriting and vocals of Jonathan Richman.
While these sessions were recorded in 1973, they weren't released until 1981, on Mohawk Records, and later re-issued on Bomp!, minus the song "I'm Straight". This is the first, original issue, and in addition to the extra song, it also has the "ad back" cover, which wasn't included in the reissue.
Vinyl is in Near-mint condition. Play surfaces are very clean and free of marks.
Sleeve is Excellent, with no writing or split seams, but some minor ringwear and handling wear.
US buyer pays calculated media postage including tracking. Overseas bidders pay calculated air postage.
I do offer combined shipping discounts on multiple purchases.
