Description
By all accounts a South African special edition putting 'Animals' and 'Wish You Were Here' together in the same gatefold sleeve, this is one of the rarest Pink Floyd albums of the eighties (suggests Google), but from my family's point of view, it was just our clever way of not having to buy the individual records -- and as such, we've handled it A LOT throughout the past forty years -- every single edge has whitened, rubbed-down card (the spine, you can _just about read_ 'The Other Side of the Wall - Pink Floyd'). Luckily, the vinyl itself has been handled more reverently, and there's been no playback issues, either on our terrible Argos-own table, or our new Sony system: every track (but especially the ethereal ones, and the ballads) have a unique resonant sound. The inner gatefold image (the classic dreamy-yet-bleak power station combined with the flaming handshake) is great to stare at while listening -- I've just finished reading some of the Pink Floyd biographies, and knowing where the impasse they were at in the late seventies, early eighties -- it's a great atmospheric experience. I'll despatch very carefully -- and immediately on payment. Non-payers - Three-strike non-payers will now be banned from eBay at a name-and-address level. Happy to combine postage costs if you win this along with any of the other items I'm currently selling on Ebay. Prompt payment highly appreciated. Any questions welcome. Thanks for looking, happy bidding
