Description
1966 Original Stock Copy on the Capitol label. The record is Machine-Stamped with 'IAM' inside a triangle, which signifies the record was pressed at the Capitol plant in Scranton PA.
Cast your mind back to Wigan Casino, early/mid '70s . 'Lonely Man' is packing the floor. Except it's covered up, and people believe that they are dancing to The Detroit Shakers and 'Help me' or 'Help Me Find My Way' (depending on which Bootleg version you had seen). The DJs have got it on this Capitol album, THE ONLY WAY TO PLAY THIS TRACK ON ORIGINAL VINYL, and we all had it on one of the 3 variations that were bootlegged on the Councel label. The Detroit Shakers indeed (The bootleggers even managed to squeeze Richard Popcorn Wylie's name on to the credits on the Bootleg. Hilarious. The album also has some other cover versions of known songs.
Vinyl is in nice condition on both sides. Lovely shiny clean vinyl with a few very minor marks. Main track (2/3) plays superbly. I have only test played the mentioned track.
Nice clean labels with no WoL or stickers on the label. Plain paper Inner sleeve looks in OK condition for its age, but has some age discolouration. And other than a crease, but does have the very common edge splits. Main outer cover is a bit battered. WoL on the rear, as well as a small stain. Also slight ring wear, edge scuffing and corner bruising (see pictures).
Flat postage charges, however many you buy, £4.75. Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked. £9.50 Royal Mail Special Delivery for orders over £150.
