Description
The PRETTY THINGS.
.MIDNIGHT TO SIX MAN
RELEASE DETAILS Label:.FONTANA Martix#.687.368 Year:.1966
On offer here is the Pretty Things Lp Midnight To Six Man as released in France. As I have stated in another Pretty Things listing and is worth repeating, this is one dirty nasty snotty R&B kick-ass record. Often compared to the Rolling Stones, but really, there was little comparison as the Pretty Things were streets ahead in Rock & Roll attitude and musicianship. Always hairier and more dangerous than the Stones, their influence on music today is highly significant. Even now, the Pretty Things are a jaw dropping live experience even without the million dollar stage gear.
This has gotta be the coolest Pretty Things record I have ever laid my hands on.
Just check that wild front and back cover picture. Only France would produce a cover like that. I say that cause there are so many great French sleeves from the 60's and this is way up there !!
This is a mighty rare item indeed. Bid wisely if you wanna win it!

VINYL GRADING
Mint minus (M-) as new.
Excellent (EX) "cupboard dweller"
Very clean and shiny vinyl without any scratches and minimum signs of handling. Fantastic audio! for sure! Never need to upgrade!
Very Good (VG) "used but not abused"
Vinyl will show signs of moderate use, with light scuffs and some possible surface scratches. Will play and sound great! A keeper copy!
Good (G) "party animal"
Vinyl is marked with plenty of scuffs, scratches etc. There will be some audible background pop and crackle but this should not overwhelm the music. In most cases, a reasonable filler but worthwhile due to rarity and or desirability!
A plus + or minus - indicates a bias to the next level.
First time bidders in my auctions are advised to read my Terms & Conditions as set out below.
