This rare Double vinyl LP is called Real Pretty by the Proto Prog band the Pretty Things and contains to of the band’s best albums S.F. Sorrow and Parachute. S.F. Sorrow was the fourth album by the band, released in 1968, it is known as one of the first rock operas ever released. Based on a short story by singer Phil May, the album is structured as a song cycle telling the story of a main character "Sebastian F. Sorrow", from his birth, through love, war, tragedy, madness, and his disillusionment with old age. The 2nd LP contained here is Parachute which was the fifth studio album by band, released in 1970. Rolling Stone critic Steve Turner wrote that it had been "a Rolling Stone “album of the year” Stephen Holden called it an "obscure underground classic", featuring great songs like "She Was Tall, She Was High" , "Cries from the Midnight Circus" , "She's a Lover" and "Parachute" !
The Cover is in Very Good Plus Condition(see pictures), The Vinyl is in Excellent condition on one vinyl and Very Good Plus on the other Vinyl(few tiny light scratches). There a few small vinyl dimples on the very outer edge on first LP, that has nothing to do with the playing surface or sound. It sounds great!
