Description
Bringing you another MEGA RARE NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL (NWOBHM) BAND :
THE PENETRATIONS, from Scotland. Release is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to find...just try & find another apart from this one. YOU WON'T...Just how rare is rare? well...
I live here in Scotland, collect records and scour looking for unknown or virtually unheard music & have never seen another or even heard of this label or band in decade after decade of looking...
Released via a miniscule private Scottish label called KIK Records in 1980, there are two tracks here, an A & B sided 7" from a Scottish rock/metal outfit that sound super tight. Performed with the determination to have their songs played with perfection & obviously a couple of well organised track's with some stunning guitar solo & lively vocals.
Side A "Coming to You" appears also to be signed on the label by one of the band members.
This is a STEREO recording. This single was only ever available at the bands shows or small independent retailers of the day. Make NO mistake, these are GONE from sight.
Gotta compliment the production on this single also, by Chris Sorely, great job Chris...NICE & LOUD!
Outer rims simply state The Penetrations A1 & B2. Labels are homemade looking & black print on white background, all text fully legible. 45 rpm Side A : COMING TO YOU Side B : CHEAP THRILLS
The cover is generic plain white, poly lined inside. Housed within a card outer sleeve. There never was any type of picture sleeve made for this item.
Actual record is in nice shape, with no scratched marks or chipped rim etc. Some light hairlines or light marks VISUALLY if scrutinised but nothing major or nasty!
Plays as VG++ or EX- with only some light background noise (barely audible throughout) I heard a couple of light tick, here or there during one side. test played YES =VG++ at the worst! no skips or locked grooves/jumps in play. You can jump! & probably will after playing or winning this item. DO NOT MISS IT!! I only have one copy & doubt I'll ever see another, neither might YOU? I recently sold Glory Hunter...These guys sound even better in my humble opinion. Capturing that by gone sound of the era.
if you have ever seen this record, you'll already know the deal.
I will only send this item tracked or signed for delivery. No point in it being either lost, damaged or even stolen. I will also promise to uphold my packing skills (why bother otherwise) and make sure you get there - what you see here. This item is exactly what you are looking at & not a copied image from elsewhere in the world!
also a 12" mailer will be used, additional L.P. FREE to protect but of lesser (budget) value. This will be safer than a 7" mailer & help protect the single.
ANY questions, I can answer (hopefully) just ask. Cheers. This item is a BUY IT NOW or make your best offer. This option is open.
