ARTIST: The Penguins
LABEL: Dootone EPD - 101 (1955)
TITLE: Rhythm & Blues
CONDITION:
Sleeve: The front & back covers are a clean VG++ w/ bright vibrant color and just a touch of wear. Has a clean 4 1/4" bottom seam split, a tiny 3/8" split at the top right corner and a little other light seam wear.
Record: Looks NM w/ super high original gloss and looks like it's probably been unplayed! Plays almost Mint- w/ just a whisper of very light random background surface noise and great sound presence. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Very nice original 1955 copy of this rare Dootone four song Vocal Group EP in cardboard seeve.
HEADS UP: I recently purchased a large collection from a radio station DJ. Lots of sealed LP’s and Mint- promo copy LP’s. I’ll be posting some every week for quite a while along with my usual eclectic mix
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 VPI cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
