Description
The Pink Fairies "The Snake" UK 7" 1971. Polydor Records, catalogue number 2058 089. The b-side is "Do It". Back in 1971 when College was what we all wanted to do (art based usually), I actually ended up doing Bricklaying. No accounting for lifestyle choices!. Everyone (if Rock based, as I was as were all my mates) back then was listening to Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath, Juicy Lucy, May Blitz, Atomic Rooster, Hackensack and a real MUST was this lot, The Pink Fairies. They did the College circuit endlessly and every student in the UK must have seen them at least once. I saw them at Swindon College and they were immense. They were Motorhead before Motorhead became Motorhead (you get my point?). This slice of Brit Rock history should be savoured and ownership not taken lightly. You must carry the torch for all future headbangers! It is a commitment, be warned! Condition is good for its age (nearly 50 years old for Christ's sake!). Play with love and reverence for it is a gem in the Royal Rock Crown. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd class. I combine postage on multiple purchases overa 24 hour period.
