Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: FAIR (The record has a reasonably sharp and clear sound, there is some noticeable audible background crackle throughout the tracks, there is some noticeable background noise in between tracks, there are some noticeable pops and clicks here and there throughout the record but they are not that common and are quite scarce, however at the start of side 2 on the first track called ‘Intersellar Overdrive’ there is a jump probably as a result of a scratch going with the groove but I have closely inspected the record and cannot see a deep raised scratch in the area where it jumps and to be honest it baffles me. The record only jumps about 1 second on and I have played the record to a friend of mine and he could not tell the record jumped and did not notice it. I normally don’t sell records with jumps on but I know this one is mega rare and it only jumps 1 second or so of music so I thought I would list it on ebay to see if any one would be interested. Please be aware there are no refunds on this item as I have been totally honest with my grading and the record is sold as described. P.S I would have graded the record at very good minus both on the audio and visually but because it jumps I have to grade it at FAIR because I am using record collector gradings and it does state that if the record does jump in any way it has to fall under the FAIR grading category. Fair sound quality (Playtested 22nd January 2009)
Vinyl Visual Grade: FAIR (Looks very well played with lots and lots of light superficial hairline surface marks covering the record, there are also 6 or 7 more feelable small hairline scratches/marks on the record and these affect playback by causing some of the light pops/clicks mentioned above, there are lots of spindle marks on the label which also indicates numerous plays but the labels have no rips or tears on them, there is some wear around the spindle holes, there is no pen marks/writing on the labels, overall a very average copy visually)
Album Cover Grade: Very Good Minus (some light creasing to the top right front corner and the bottom right front corner, there is some light creasing to all of the rear corners, there is no spine splitting and the spine is clearly legible and the spine does not suffer from any wear/rubbing, no top edge splits and there is no wear/rubbing to the top edge, no bottom edge splits and there is no wear/rubbing to the bottom edge, only very minimal corner rubbing, no major rips or tears in the sleeve apart from 10 or so very light small 0.25cm rips on the rear sleeve, there is some ringwear on the front and back that is noticeable, there is no pen marks/writing on the sleeve apart from a barely visible name in blue biro on the rear top flipback lip, the sleeve does not suffer from any major laminate lifting or peeling, the sleeve suffers from some moderate discolouration or staining on the unlaminated rear, very sturdy sleeve)
Record Collector 2010 Price Guide Book Price: £150 Mint
All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 12 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so. Please be confident when buying from me as i have many positive feedback comments left for me and I have been trading on ebay for over 3 years. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask. Please also click on 'View seller's other items' on the right hand side of the page to see what i have on offer. All the pictures you see in the listings are taken with my own digital camera and my scanner. They will be 100% representative of what you will be purchasing from me. Good Luck !

EXCELLENT
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR

BAD
The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
