Description

Hi,

 

On offer is the 7” shaped picture disc single of Sally Maclennane. Because a picture is sandwiched between two layers of vinyl it means that there is less vinyl on each side in which to press the grooves. As a result, picture discs are notorious for their poor sound quality. Even an unplayed record can sound poor. There appear to be marks at the edges of the picture disc but these are actually part of the pressing process and you can see the grooves (photos 7-9).

Condition: sleeve – generic

 

Comments: The vinyl may possibly be unplayed with a couple of possible marks as per the photo 6 (these may be pressing marks). The original sleeve has a fold and split along the bottom and a couple of cuts at the top (last 3 photos).
