Description

You are bidding on the following ultra rare Police reel tape from my private collection. This is the first time this has appeared on ebay and you will not see this on ebay again. This was bought directly from an ex-sound engineers from Studio Jam 11 years ago:THE POLICE STUDIO JAM ROCK CONCERT Park West, Chicago 25/05/79 Can't Stand Losing You / Truth Hits Everybody / So Lonely / Fall Out / Born In The 50's Hole In My Life / Be My Girl-Sally / Message In A Bottle / Peanuts / Roxanne / Next To You Landlord / Can't Stand Losing You (Reprise) / Interview US 10" WSAI-FM Studio Jam, Inc Original ¼" Reel Tape Studio Jam Cue Sheet Reel Box: EX / Reel Tape: EX / Cue Sheet: EX / ORIGINAL Advert Slick (To produce flyers etc): EX This is the rarest radio station original broadcast reel to reel tape, with the sound engineer confirming 10 copies were produced on the agreement with then Police Manager Miles Copeland, which were distributed exclusively in house to 10 radio stations. These were meant to be returned to management but this one never was and remains the rarest reel to this day. This is an original radio station reel tape complete with cue sheet that was used to broadcast the concert across US airwaves and the quality is amazing. The reel also includes a backstage dressing room interview with The Police. A CD transfer direct from the reel is contained with the auction. No distribution rights implied with this auction and is being sold purely as a collectible piece of rare Police memorabilia for your own private use. Do not ask for copies from the CD accompanied with this reel, as you will be blocked, so don't bother asking. This is possibly the only surviving copy as I have never seen anouther copy come up for sale in 30 years. I'm selling this due to a house move, so I'm reluctant in selling this but needs must. This reel is complete with cue sheets and promotional documents - absolutely complete set!The tape is very heavy so will be packed up well.Check out my other rare Police auctions, including one off and unique holy grail Police items which all need to be sold before I close this eBay account. **I NO LONGER SHIP TO PERU DUE TO LOSS OF PARCELS, THEFT AND BOOTLEGGERS. ANY ATTEMPT TO BID OR CONTACT ME FROM THIS COUNTRY WILL BE BLOCKED** Postage is not £7.00 it's £20.00 Worldwide and £10.00 within the United Kingdom.
