You are bidding on an ultra rare radio station promo only reel tape in RKO Radio Station labeled company box of a early Police concert from Hatfield Polytechnic on the 21st February 1979.

US 8-trk 7" Show #118 04/10/79 RKO National Tape Service Inc In-House Reel with Cue Sheets
The concert was broadcast on UK Television show called Rock Goes To College on BBC2 in 1979, but this reel contains a reprise of Can't Stand Losing You which was never broadcast as the band came back on stage after the performance and when the camera's had stopped rolling, so to have this track on a soundboard recording is very rare.
The box is in near mint condition has a thin split on the side and at the top but this is common with these type of boxes, and has not come away, and cannot be seen/visible once the lid is closed. The cue sheets are in mint condition. Only around 25-50 of these in-house reels were produced direct from the master and the quality is better than the CD bootlegs of this gig, as this is as near to the master you are going to get, because it was recorded DIRECTLY from the BBC master tape. This reel is almost impossible to find and I'm only selling it as I have this already, which originally took me over 10 YEARS to find. I have also recorded the reel directly onto CD, so I will throw this in with the reel tape.
