Description
Both labels have 446 W. 50th ST., N.Y.C. address; 447 West 50th St. address at the bottom of the back cover. Deep groove, mono. "RVC" (for Rudy Van Gelder, engineer) is stamped in the dead wax. The group includes Teddy Charles, vibes; Mal Waldron, piano; Addison Farmer, bass; Jerry Segal, drums. 4 tracks.
Cover: VG+ 1/2" split on the top and bottom edges at the insert edge. Light aging on the back cover. Slight wear at the bottom of the notes on the back cover. Minor aging along the edges of the front cover.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. 3 faint rub marks on Side A one of which on Track 2, barely visible, may include a faint, short scratch mark. This is a very small irregularly shaped mark. On Track 1, there is extremely faint groove noise on first 1 or 2 revolutions as well as 2 clicks. On Track 2, described above, there are 4 light random clicks. The irregular mark described may account for 1 of the 4 light clicks but it is barely audible. On Side B, Track 1 has 2 or 3 faint clicks at the beginning of the Track and 5 additional random clicks. No noise on Track 2. The noise is slight. Overall fine condition. Audibly checked.
