• Label & Cat #: 1984 Sire 9 23980-1 (cover) Sire 1-23980 (label) *Columbia Record Club (printed on cover back lower rh). The vinyl is a Quiex II Limited Edition Pressing (The disc is translucent - it appears "black" until held up to light, when you can see some light coming through the vinyl). Many Quiex pressings were promotional.
• Vinyl Grade: Excellent (EX) play graded *Near Mint play with a couple faint marks only
• Cover Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+) *several moderate bend creases, Quiex II sticker on front; inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition
• Notes:  Chrissie Hynde was forced by circumstance to reinvent the Pretenders for their third album, after drug abuse claimed both her guitarist and bassist from the group's first 2 recordings. 1984's Learning to Crawl is a masterpiece with Hynde pulling it off with a striking mixture of courage, strength, and great rock & roll; with the exception of the instant-classic debut album, it's the Pretenders' finest work.
