Description

A true rarity! Two U.S. acetates for the Pretenders debut LP. Cardboard cover has a Warner Bros. logo on the front, and a plain back. There were many pressings of this in 1980 alone, so I am not sure exactly which one these are for. The labels say "09-04-80", and I didn't see anything conspicuous in the dead wax. It doesn't matter, as they should never be played anyway. The condition is fair only - a lot of marks, and some imperfections (like small bubbles) along the edges which appear to be there from when these were made. The surfaces are dusty, but I didn't want to make an attempt to clean, i.e. ruin them. You can tell they were taken in and out of the paper sleeves quickly, causing some surface lines. I tried to get some accurate photos of the flaws, but my camera just would not cooperate. Free shipping - no overseas orders! Payment via paypal to a confirmed address - U.S. buyers only! If I send these over the pond, they will certainly be broken somewhere during their journey... I have some other Pretenders rarities I will be listing (Christmas wish flexi, Off the Record with Mary Turner, bootlegs, press kits, 1987 promo video with interview,etc,etc...) so send wants, I might actually have something.
