The Purple Hearts ?– The Sound Of The Purple Hearts EP SUNSHINE GARAGE RARE FREAKBEAT
Mono pressing of this rare Aussie garage gem, Sunshine Records – QX-11,173. 1966.
Cover grades VG+
Laminated cover with slightly dinged corners, top right is most apparent. Little bit of laminate bubbling, sticker residue top of back cover. All corners intact with some light creasing. All in all not in bad shape for it’s age. No writing!
Record:
Visually the surface has marks, light scratches and some scuffing. Labels on both sides are reasonably clean, no writing. Record plays VG+. There is some light crackle and ticks (at the start of the A side mostly) and in between tracks and quieter passages. Personally I believe this EP plays better than it looks.
Please note I grade conservatively.

(M) MINT = VINYL absolutely perfect in every way, never played.
(NM) NEAR MINT = VINYL nearly perfect, no obvious signs of wear. COVER should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes.
(VG++) VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS = VINYL may have scuff marks, very light scratches and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly, with only barely detectable crackles; a slight noise at the beginning is allowable. COVER may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
(VG+) VERY GOOD PLUS = VINYL has light scratches, may have light crackle or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, and no more loudly than the music. COVER has normal wear such a ring wear, creases, wear at corners, edges & spine.
(VG) VERY GOOD = In between G+ and VG+
(G+) GOOD PLUS = VINYL has scratches, may have continuous crackles, but not too many, a few pops maybe present and has obvious surface noise. COVER has more than normal wear and tear. Still will be an OK listen, but perhaps more a filler for a collector.
I do not list any items under the G+ grading. I do grade on the conservative side.
