This listing is for the compete set of 12 records that compromise The RCA Victor Encyclopedia Of Recorded Jazz.
Each album in the set is a 10" 33 rpm vinyl record.
The set was produced for The Jazz Club of America.
It was released in 1956 on the RCA Victor ?label with catalog #'s LEJ-1 through LEJ-12.
The records themselves are in what I would call very goof condition for vinyl of this era with varying degrees of light surface scratches.
Wear is moderate and each record plays generally free from distortion.
Surface noise is there but not overly pronounced.
A thorough cleaning could certainly improve the sound. But other than wiping some dust off, I chose to leave it as is for the listing as some people prefer it that way so that they can clean it themselves in the manner they see.
The sleeves are in what I would call fair good condition. In addition to shelf and ring wear, the sleeves each have some light writing on them.
There are also two holes punched on the sides of the sleeves where they must have been put into a binder at some point.
Despite this wear, the sleeves are all still structurally sound and in fairly clean condition.
