Description

The ROLLING STONES - BEGGARS BANQUET - Decca LK 4955 - 1968 UK Original 1st pressing.
RECORD - GOOD - unfortunately the vinyl displays a lot of surface marks and scuffs, but does play through without jumping or sticking. Unsurprisingly, there is surface noise throughout both sides, though the music is still clear and listenable. There are also a couple of bits of distortion, but they don't last long. Overall, a much loved/much abused* example. *delete as appropriate.
Runout Matrix Numbers - Side 1 - XARL-8476-4A (stamped)                                           Side 2 - XARL-8477-2A (stamped)
LABELS - EXCELLENT - original red and silver labels, with unboxed Decca logo. Clean and bright, but with some spindle wear and plenty of spindle marks. No writing or stickers.
SLEEVE - VERY GOOD - original Garrard & Lofthouse outer-laminated, gatefold sleeve. Front and back are fairly clean with a little ringwear and some creasing, mainly along the spine edge. The inside of the gatefold is very clean and bright, with just light creasing. The corners are square with just a little wear, the edges are straight with virtually no wear. The spine is straight, but unfortunately has some splits and creases along it, making the text a little hard to read.
INNER SLEEVE - VERY GOOD - original printed, generic white polylined sleeve. Clean and intact, with some creasing and age-discolouration.
