Description
Up for sale is my copy of The Raincoats' "Odyshape." This is an original pressing on Rough Trade from 1981. The vinyl on this one looks beautiful. I couldn't find any imperfections and it is very glossy. The sleeve is also in nice shape, there is one dent near the lower left-hand side (see last picture). The labels also look wonderful.
The music on this LP is unique and wonderful. A pitchfork review had this to say: "Despite living in an era when almost all music is available on tap, the Raincoats' 1981 post-punk classic still feels like a self-contained secret. It's telling that Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon was brought in to provide sleeve notes but doesn't say a single word about the record, and no demos, outtakes, or other ephemera are included."
I will ship the item wrapped in bubble wrap in a cardboard LP mailer. I do not currently have access to a turntable, so I must visually grade my records.
