Description
The Rajahs EP 'Beatlemania' a tribute to the Beatles.This EP was a give away offered by the Sydney newspaper The Sunday Mirror around the time of the Beatles visit to Australia in the early 1960's.Record graded at VG+,but plays with much better audio quality ( VG++ at least) Cover is actually quite good ,VG+,with some light creases,wear on the opening edge,and general aging.The Rajahs were a very competant band who worked with Dig Richards as the RJ's and also with other Australian artists of the era,and performed cover versions like the pros they were. They went on to record some tracks on the Leedon label , a B side 'Oh' appearing on the fantastic compilation CD 'Of Hopes And Dreams And Tombstones'.
