Description
Hi there good people. OK. This hurts, but it has to happen. Here is a record i bought as a little boy, when I used to catch the bus to Dixons recycled records in Blackburn pretty much every Saturday morning for about 6 years straight. Bless them, they are still going strong!!! I think i got this in 1983/84 and from memory it was a silver star. I never bought anything lower than a silver star grading. Some of you in Melbourne Australia may know what I am talking about. Anyway, it is their second highest grade. Since i have had it, I think I have played it maybe 20 to 30 times. Not very much really.
This record is in amazing condition for its age. There are some very light minor paper sleeve scuffs on the vinyl, the labels show the tiniest spindle lines and are incredibly clean. It sounds loud and clear and is amazingly quiet through playback. I just played it all the way through and it sounds amazing. The cover and inner sleeve are truly amazing for their age. No seam splits on the inner sleeve and the cover shows very minor seam and corner wear. This is the absolute first 1976 USA ABC Sire Records pressing with the incorrect label song title “Beat Is On The Brat” and the misspelling Blitzkreig.
Matrix info: Side 1: SASD 7520 A RE-1 1A STERLING A1 Side 2: SASD 7520 A RE-1 1A STERLING A3
Very good luck to you finding another copy like this. I will grade the cover and Vinyl a very strong V++. I will admit I am an absolute pain in the ass about record and cover condition and i would like to think this LP would make me and you very happy. I have more photos if you need. Just let me know
