RARE CLASSICAL RECORDS PRICE GUIDE 2004. EXCEPTIONALLY RARE PRICE GUIDE.
I buy and sell hundreds of records and related items a year and might use the term 'rare' once or twice if I'm lucky. This price guide however, I can confidently list as extremely rare. I have only ever handled two, the one I'm selling and the one I'm keeping. Ive had a scout around the net and the cheapest I can find another copy is on Amazon and its priced at £150.00. A copy recently sold on AbeBooks for £400, but thats just silly..
These guides are invaluable for anyone who may occasionally pick up job lots of records from auctions, boot sales etc as they invariably contain some classical records. What most people don't realise is how much some of these 1950s/60s/70s records can be worth, some are worth thousands of pounds. Even though this book is 8 years old, what was rare then is still rare now so the listings are still very relevant to the market.
This guide has complete listings and valuations for all the Decca LXT, SXL2000, SXL6000 and SET serial numbers. Columbias' 33CX and SAX. His Masters Voice ALP, ASD (3 and 4 digit) and SAN numbers and also gives full label descriptions.
Decca Wide Band Groove labels, Columbia Blue/Gold, HMV White/Gold, all the important classical collectables are here in all their various released versions.
The format is simply laid out and dead easy to follow. Just look up the label, number and release version and there is the market value.
This book is in an 'As New' condition and is not the book pictured, which is my own personal copy.
Shipping is priced at £3.50 to provide for a recorded and fully insured service.
