The Real Kids; 'The Real Kids' 1977 LP; Red Star Records. Record NM;Cover VG+/Ex. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class. These boys rock out a la Ramones - fast and furious most of the way, but tuneful with it. Not what would be termed punk in the UK, but which often seems to be utilised about US bands who play this style - however, these lads don't forget to be tuneful along the way, either. This is an original 1977 US-released import copy on Red Star Records, RS2 which seems to have escaped any of the common cuts or holes often applied to imports back then. Cover still has original cellophane on it - on which there are a couple of stickers which are easily removeable and do not impinge on the cover itself which is in at least vg/exc condition all the way round apart very slight corner bumps. Record itself is NM, I have no memory of it ever being played, while it comes in its original stylish all-back inner sleeve. Class record all round, really and I'll be quite happy to keep it if noone is prepared to pay the going rate - which can only increase in time!
