FEATURING: “The Remains “Ultra Rare - 1966 Self-Titled/Debut Vinyl Record; An Original Holy Grail - Garage Rock – 1st Pressing/Radio Station Copy ---

The Remains is the debut album by the American garage rock band The Remains- The Remains was released on Epic Records in September 26, 1966. Though the album was largely overlooked at the time of its original release, The Remains has since received recognition as one of the more cohesive efforts of the era. The Remains have been described as a fusion of the Beatles and the Zombies with their energetic harmonies and guitar-electric keyboard blend"; America’s greatest lost band" and a band which “ led the way for Rock n’ Rollers in Boston"... The band broke up in late 1966, and Epic released their self-titled debut album to little fanfare & later went on to acquire cult-like status…

VINYL - The Remains - EPIC /White Label; “Radio Station Copy” Promotional – 1st Pressing - Thick/120g-150g Vinyl - VG+/VG++ - Vinyl shows nice shine & gloss - Visible light paper scuffs/hairline marks/age shadowing & minimal play noted. No major scratches or issues ~ Has been play graded – Very faint crackle in a spot or two – No Skips or repeating - Sounds POSITIVELY Amazing!!! *** As with any vintage vinyl that has not been graded "Mint" ~ you may hear surface noise / background on quieter tracks ***

COVER – G+/VG(minus) - Cover has begun to show its Fifty Year Age… Both front & back show handling/staining/yellowing & discoloration (pls. see up close pics) *** There is a fairly large area on front cover (right side) that has been “taped” – this area shows bubbling/creasing etc. in the taped area --- The edges & spine appear solid and do not have tape or repairs – The colors on the front still remain bright & all writing (front/back) is  readable

SPINE - Appears strong & intact - catalogue information is clear & mostly readable

MATRIX - XEM114860-1C / XEM114859-2A

If you would like any close up photos or individual information on album pls. feel comfortable to contact me ~

~ Buying "Vintage" ~ means that the vinyl has been pre-loved and pre-played ~ Rarely in perfect condition…As with any Vintage Vinyl Not Marked as MINT - you may hear faint background noise/ pops/clicks etc.

Vinyl/Jacket grading is based on the Goldmine standard: SS - Still Sealed – For the collector that requires perfection. M - Mint - a near perfect/un-played record. NM - Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new. EX+- close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect play. EX- A used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear. VG+- There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few scuffs - could include light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, still plays great. VG- significant wear and marks - would be noticeable - may have surface noise -still plays very well with no disruption. Good- Would only sell if the Record/Cover were Rare ~ Highly Desirable and/or Limited/Special Edition vinyl/jacket cover
