Description
A rare opportunity to acquire my copy of The Return Of The Durutti Column with the original sandpaper sleeve, reputedly assembled by members of Joy Division.
Featuring the beautiful guitar playing of Vini Reilly. See lable photos for track listings etc.
I bought this lp in 1980 after hearing a track played by John Peel. It did not come with the Martin Hannet flexi-disc. I replaced the original paper liner with a poly-lined inner.
It has been well cared for and played only lightly on good quality equipment.
The vinyl is unmarked and plays very well with some slight surface crackling which was there from new. There is a blemish in the pressing towards the end of track 4, side A which produces a few minor pops.
The matrix in the runouts reads as follows: S-6 FACT 14 4 PBG A1 SOUND CLINIC EG and S-3 FACT 14 PBG B1 EG.
The sleeve is in excellent condition and has been stored in a plastic outer. There is some slight rippling which I presume was caused when the adhesive dried. It is not sprayed FACT 14.
