From London Records (LL 3402) this is 12 X 5 by THE ROLLING STONES, a beautiful original monaural deep groove pressing from 1964; made in the USA.
The jacket is the usual sturdy American style with absolutely no blemishes or flaws and certainly no signs of aging with the exception of a whisper of toning to back surface. There are no bumped corners; the spine is perfectly blocked with printing dead center. Front surface shows a hint of wear along the bottom (please check photos carefully). Overall, the cover appears brand new: It is shiny, strong and even smells new. We've seen SEALED jackets in lesser condition!
The original inner sleeve states that printing was done in England. This is the rare, brown poly-lined inner -- the very first one used by London. Its condition is stunning (see pix).
The deep groove labels show a couple of very light spindle marks both sides (no other flaws or blemishes); playing surfaces are solid MINT showing not one mark of any kind. Remarkably, the matrix states "1A" both sides being an absolute first pressing of the first mono edition. Throw your CDs out the window -- it doesn't get closer to the source than this!
An amazing piece, simply stunning! NO DEALERS PLEASE (record dealers' bids will be cancelled)!
When you buy from a small Mom & Pop business you are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home, a second yacht or a four hundred million dollar golden parachute. Instead, you’re helping a little girl get dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey, a Mom put food on the table, a Dad pay a mortgage, or a student pay for college. Our customers are our shareholders; they are the ones we strive to make happy. Thank you for supporting small businesses.
