Hey there and welcome to my auction. This is for the rolling stones albums “aftermath” and “out satanic majestys request”
For starters please look at all the pictures carefully. I took one for everything to give the best idea of the condition and anything that is important to note.
Aftermath- the jacket is in very nice condition. It does have the usually signs of wear but maintains a nice glossy visual appearance. It has some rubbing/friction wear and the like of what is common for albums this old. It does come with the original inner sleeve which is discolored and has a split at the bottom as shown in the photo. The vinyl itself is in very nice shape, i angled it in the light to show the kind of surface wear it has and has the “angel hair” light scratches seen on mostly all records.
SMR- the jacket is in good condition with the original holographic cover. It has somewhere but it’s hard to tell from the lucid and blue colored cover design. There is some friction wear on the bottom of the cover and slight on the top. It also appears in the same places on the reverse side which are a little more noticeable. Strangely enough this wear does not appear on the in er gatefold from what I can see and there is no splitting in the inner gatefold where the record could typically pierce through. On the bottom of the jacket there is a roughly 3 inch split (see photo).
As far as the inner sleeve there looks to be some discoloration on the sides but it’s hard to tell with the red color.
The vinyl appears to be in good condition free from any noteworthy scratches other than the same type of wear I mentioned for the aftermath lp.
