Grading System

All RECORDS, CDS and MUSIC MEMORABILIA are graded in accordance with my own collecting experience combined with THE RECORD COLLECTORS GUIDE TO RARE RECORDS, using this i grade records and sleeves separately with two grades for records that are rare.

Gradings are as follows:

MINT: Item is still sealed in original packaging and New.
NEAR MINT: Item may or may not have original packaging but would be in unplayed condition
EXCELLENT+/-: Immaculatly clean example with very few and only light signs of any wear.
VERY GOOD+/-: A few more signs of wear and tear including light scratches to the vinyl and cracks and creasing plus small tears to the sleeves.
GOOD+/-: Generally the sleeve would still be intact but a bit rougher around the edges. The record would play with some interference from crackles and may have the occasional pop.
FAIR+/-: High levels of interference in the recording by cracks pops and jumps. Sleeves could be torn or damaged moderately.
POOR+/-: Sleeves could be heavily damaged/torn, records may jump on several occasions but would still just about play.
BAD: ANYTHING GRADED BAD WILL NOT BE SOLD.

Excellent Minus

An Immaculate looking sleeve with a great condition spine. The front of the sleeve is in immaculate condition with only some very light creasing to the lamination. The back of the sleeve has some light discolouring and there is the remainder of a small piece of selotape which has left a dark brown stain. Otherwise this is an immaculate sleeve.

Very Good Plus

The record is nearly perfectly flat and has excellent labels with minimal spindle wear. The surface of the record is still very good with only a small number of light surface marks plus 2 medium scratches (both on side one). Other than the 2 medium scratches all marks seem to be superficial. Still an excellent record for any Stones enthusiast. Still a great player.

Generally the record plays very well, With only a light background crackle that is hardly noticeable throughout the majority of the album, in one or two places the volume of the interference does temporarily increase but overall the album plays very very well.

I have graded each track individually.

SIDE ONE

T7 = EX-

On side one there is some light crackle on the outside edge, this disappears once the music of track one has started, then the crackle is hardly noticeable. This continues until the beginning of track three where the crackle increases in volume, there is then two light/medium pops, the second of which actually pushes the needle forward which creates a jumping like sound but once the needle passes this point the record plays continuously with only one further light pop about 20 seconds after. The rest of side one then plays at the high level of quality that the album started with.

Side two starts with some medium crackle that does eventually fade once the break of the music has played. Track 2 plays again at an excellent quality with only the light crackle that is noticeable between the tracks. Track 3 on side 2 is a quiet song so the background crackle is unfortunately more noticeable than it is throughout the rest of the album. Tracks 4 to 7 then play again at the excellent level of quality that was previously noted and continues with the crackle only really being noticeable between the tracks.

Altogether still an excellent condition record with only some short minor spots of interference that has arised from 33 years of wear and tear. A great collectors piece and not one to be missed - finding this album in this condition will not be an easy task for any collector - Do not miss out.!!! A great album in great condition!!!
