Description

An original Boxed copy of BTB on the UK Decca label from Xmas-1969. Matrix 4k/4k. Please note that both labels are exhibiting the inverted tape numbers and this is very much a throwback to the sixties and disappears over the winter period. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original James Upton cover with pinched spine. Also included is blue and white Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A pretty much faultless rendition delivering great resolution and clarity all the way through. Even in those tricky paired down tracks - no background at all. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we could make out were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A beautiful rendition by any standard.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Wow, if only all sixties covers looked this sweet! Lovely shiny front which is borderline immaculate. The rear is stunning because it literally is totally free from any ageing at all. Possibly one or two microscopic marks, but you'd struggle even equalling this standard. Edge wear is super-light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact - a beaut! Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies nice and flat. What a specimen!
Inner (Ex-) No splits or markings. Lightly aged on one edge.
