Description

TXL101 Mono 1st pressing on the UK Decca label in 1967. Gatefold cover states 'mono' on the spine. The record is the deep groove unboxed Decca variety which is consistent with a 1st issue from 1967.

Vinyl (Ex+) Is in immaculate condition and, needless to say, this is very unusual for a vintage record. It has clearly only seen minimal play and retains most of it's original shine. Even under close inspection there's barely a single mark on either side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback and no signs of groove wear at all. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and there's almost no interference at all [even in the quiet passages]. Add to this the fact that these early issues were manufactured to a high standard and produce brilliant rich mono sound, and you will struggle to beat this copy.

Cover (Ex-) Remains in very good condition with only some moderate edgewear. The front and rear remain nice and shiney and unusually free from creases. There is some wear to the spine, but most of the text is still readable. Still a very decent original copy with a nice rigid feel to it.

Photo inserts (VG) Unfortunately the photo inserts have worked their way free and I think two pages are missing. Never the less the ones that remian are in good condition apart from someones name being written on the right hand edge.
